2014 - Probably One Of My Worst Year Ever!!!! The Year That
I Lost 2 Of My Pillars of Strength Both On The Professional Front as well as
Personal Front. First The Man Who Gave Me My Breakthrough On the Professional
Front Mr. Bala Kailasam S/O Director K. Balachander who too passed away a while
ago today eve. Mr. Bala Kailasam was Instrumental in disciplining me and making
me toil hard to earn a Name for myself in my Career. He despite being a Family
member never gave me any special liberties. He has put me to the test on
several occasions. It's because of his guidance that i have become what i am
today. I was fortunate to work under him at Puthiya Thalaimurai & later in
His Unfinished Documentary "Hauling History Ashore" on a
decommissioned Submarine INS Vagli post our Puthiya Thalaimurai Saga!!! It so
happened that towards the end of the documentary i had to head back home back
to Bangalore as My Dad was unwell and I had to head to set up my career once
again, also had to be a pillar of support to my dad close to home sometime in
June, BK sir was Kind enough to let me go, I finished up majority of the
documentary for BK Sir before heading back for a new job. Alas he passed away
about 12 days (August 15th) after my leaving Chennai. My Biggest Strength and Source of Inspiration
On the professional Front was no more & i Didn't have the Courage to even
Go For His Funeral. One Rude Shock For me.
A Month & half Later
Dad was getting back to shape and I too Re started my Career in Bangalore after 3 years in Chennai. From Quitting Puthiya Thalaimurai at the Start of 2014 to 3 months without a Job, then BK sir's Unexpected call to work for him in his documentary, to heading back to Bangalore for a Secure Job the 1st half of 2014 was Just Short of Ordinary, Come October I had gotten my 1st proper pay check since PT and Dad was proud of me & Relieved that my Career had Begun its Second Journey after a brief Struggle. A Fortnight Later My Biggest Hero in my Personal Front, Dad passed away (October 13th). I Was Hurting Inside, But Never Did I Show it on the outside. Maybe Losing My Chitappa (Uncle) a couple of years ago, My Grandad a Year after that, A Guru on the professional Front had me better prepared to Face this Unfortunate Calamity. Despite Our Moderate Financial Status, he Always Ensure My brother and I got What we needed not caring about his needs sometimes.

Well Losing a Father is One Thing, But For Someone to Lose a
Son and Live with that is even more sad & unfortunate. Tamizh Cinema's best
director, an Inspiration to many and the man who Introduced Tamizh Cinema's
biggest legends Kamalahassan & Rajinikanth among the array of other Actors
Mr. K. Balachander sir Passed away just a few months after losing his Son.
Enough Bad Events in 1 Year.
As Several Tragedies Struck this year, I Am Going to Begin
2015 More Positively & Knowing Fully Well That My Pillars of Strength
believed in me & my Talent. I Hope To Take Their Source Of Inspiration
Every Single Day and Work Towards Cementing My Life With Uttermost Discipline
And Care.
